An impressive 96% of Oaks Christian School graduates receive admission to colleges and universities: 97% attend college and approximately 92% attend a four-year university. MISSION STATEMENT The mission of Oaks Christian School is “To dedicate ourselves to Christ in the pursuit of academic excellence, artistic expression, and athletic distinction, while growing in knowledge and wisdom through God’s abundant grace.” The school’s motto is “Preparing Minds for Leadership and Hearts for Service.” Our intention is for all of our students to become academic achievers, effective communicators, compassionate citizens, and spiritually-minded and involved individuals. Oaks Christian School is a nonprofit, private, co-educational school serving grades 5-12, that opened its doors in the fall of 2000. Our first senior class graduated in June 2003. In the fall of 2009, the school opened a new middle school campus adjacent to the high school campus. Fifth-grade was added in 2014. Oaks Christian School enrolls approximately 1,000 high school students and 400 students in grades 5-8. The school campus is located in a beautiful, suburban community about 40 miles northwest of metro Los Angeles in the city of Westlake Village. Oaks Christian School is accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Oaks Christian School is also a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling, and complies with the NACAC Code of Ethics and Professional Practices.
